ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDIES IN RELATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VULCANIA THEME PARK - SAINT OURS LES ROCHE (63)
Description
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region is behind an economic development project aimed at increasing the number of visitors to the Vulcania theme park per year to 600,000. Attractions based on natural phenomena to be found on the land, in the sea and in space are envisaged. The projects are subject to environmental assessment, obtaining approval for which was entrusted to IDE Environnement, involving:
- Raising the profile of IDE Environnement’s multi-field expertise: natural environment, hydrogeology, water, heritage, landscape
- Management of the consultation process involving different government departments
- Proposal and reinforcement of an ERC strategy
- Preparation of an impact study
- Drafting of the specific appraisal for a UNESCO site
- Provision of guidance and assistance in the administrative authority deliberation phase
